Senior Team

Since 1937, the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) has committed more than 80 years to building and maintaining affordable housing for the residents of San Antonio.

SAHA provides housing assistance to more than 57,000 children, adults and seniors through its Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher and Mixed-Income housing programs. The Agency employs 556 individuals, with an annual operating budget of $185 million, and real estate assets valued at over $550 million.

As a compassionate agency, we understand safe and quality affordable housing is the foundation to success, and we have the privilege of managing nearly 70 public housing communities, 27 mixed-income apartment complexes, known as Beacon Communities, and administering nearly 14,162 rental vouchers throughout San Antonio.

SAHA is the stepping stone for many families who are working to become self-sufficient and ultimately achieve their dreams of homeownership, and we believe they can.

The San Antonio Housing Authority provides quality affordable housing that is well integrated into the fabric of neighborhoods and serves as a foundation to improve lives and advance resident independence.

Our vision is to create dynamic communities where people thrive.

We are a community full of hope, dreams and ambition. For more than 80 years, SAHA has helped San Antonians with access to affordable housing and social services, becoming a close-knit community dedicated to helping each other. With more than 50,000 residents, 500 staff, hundreds of partners and volunteers, we are one SAHA family and we are the face of this community.
