Ways to Support

Each day, the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) is behind the scenes rooting for thousands of residents in the city who are taking steps to positively change the trajectory of their lives for themselves and their families. The support we provide to our families could not be done without the collaboration and generosity of partners in the community.

To get involved in changing lives, below are ways you can contribute:

CONTRIBUTIONS

SAHA proudly supports the Education Investment Foundation (EIF), which provides scholarships and academic achievement awards to students living with families receiving housing assistance and pursuing higher education.

$100 funds an academic achiever award for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade who obtained honor roll in a single school year

$200 funds an academic achiever award for students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade who obtained honor roll and perfect attendance in a single school year

$1,000 funds a scholarship to a high school senior attending a college, university or technical school in the fall or spring semester

Make a financial contribution today to support these EIF students!

Amazon Smile

Take your Amazon shopping to Amazon Smile to help the Education Investment Foundation with every purchase you make. Amazon Smile is the same Amazon shopping experience except Amazon will make a donation on your behalf to the nonprofit you selected.

VOLUNTEERISM

SAHA’s Community Development Initiatives Department works hand-in-hand with residents by providing training, education and other supportive services to help them obtain self-sufficiency. The teams host a variety of food distributions, community events and other resident-focused events that rely on the generosity of community volunteers.

Inquire about future events by emailing cdi@saha.org.
