Sofia Lopez is a senior research analyst at the Action Center on Race and the Economy (ACRE), where she focuses on the relationship between housing and finance. Prior to working with ACRE, Sofia was a senior program manager at the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders where she oversaw programming to support community development nonprofits in 40 states and Washington, D.C. Sofia holds a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor’s from Swarthmore College. Sofia is the proud daughter of a mother raised in public housing and has dedicated her career to addressing inequality.
