Located on the Westside of San Antonio, between NW 26th Street and NW 27th Street off West Poplar Street, the Blueridge Subdivision is the first of four subdivisions of the San Antonio Housing Authority’s Westside Reinvestment Initiative to bring affordable, modern homes to the growing community. The three- to five-bedroom, single- and two-story houses will range between 1,197 and 1,699 square feet. They are a hop, skip and a jump away from the city’s hottest eateries and downtown entertainment.

ELIGIBILITY
The single- and two-story houses start in the $130s and will be sold to individuals who qualify for the Middle Income Homeownership Program, designed to help middle-income families purchase a house.

  • Must be a first-time homebuyer (must not have owned a home within the past 18 months).
  • Must be primary residence/owner occupied.
  • Must have completed SAHA approved Pre-Purchase Homebuyer Class.
  • Must be approved through a mortgage lender for a Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Affairs (VA), or Conventional mortgage loan.
  • Must be able to provide at least a 5 percent down payment of the purchase price. While at least 1 percent must be paid from the purchaser's own funds, down payment assistance can be used for the other 4 percent.
  • Households incomes must be at or below HUD Annual Income Limits.
