February 28, 2020

To honor African American heritage and historical achievements, the San Antonio Housing Authority (SAHA) will have a guest appearance from Willie Mitchell, a former National Football League cornerback for the Kansas City Chiefs and former SAHA resident of Wheatley Courts, to keynote its Back History Month Luncheon for employees.

Mitchell, a San Antonio native, played with the Kansas City Chief in the first Super Bowl, as well as Super Bowl IV when he assisted the Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl Championship in 1969.

In addition to Mitchell’s keynote, SAHA will have live musical and dance performances to celebrate Black History Month.
